Squeeze lime juice into bottom of glass. Clench the mint leaves and roll them in your hand (don't muddle) to release the flavor then add them to the glass. Pour in simple syrup and rum then stir. Filll cup with ice then use a spoon to pull mint leaves up from bottom of glass while stirring. Top with club soda and serve.

1/2 lime
1.5 fl oz simple syrup
1.5 fl oz white rum
1/2 cup Club soda
